Death came suddenly Tuesday at about 2:00 o’clock to Mrs. Albert J. Kuch, 53, at the University hospital in Iowa City, where she had been a patient for about ten days. Her health had not been very good for some time past.

Mrs. Kuch had been taken to the hospital on March 30 for observation and on Tuesday, April 3, had undergone an operation. She seemed to be recuperating nicely and had expected to return home the last of the week. The cause of death was given as internal hemorrhage.

Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the home and at 2:00 o’clock at the Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Lloyd Snyder, pastor, in charge of the service. Burial will be in Oak Hill cemetery.

Mrs. Kuch is survived by her husband and their only daughter, Mrs. Marcus O’Donnell; also by her mother, Mrs. Louise Keil; two brothers, Leslie of Marengo; John, of San Pedro, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Alva Shaull of Ladora; and two granddaughters, Mary Lynn and Lou Ann O’Donnell.

A complete obituary will be published in next week’s issue of the Journal-Tribune.
