SARAH KLEVER FUNERAL HELD HERE SUNDAY

Rev. Victor Rogers Officiated At the Service in Jones Funeral Home

The funeral of Sara Edna Klever was held in the Jones funeral home Sunday afternoon May 6. Her death took place May 4. The Rev. Victor Rogers was the officiating clergyman. Soloist was Betty Rusbult who sang “In the Garden” and “Rock of Ages,” accompanied by Eleanor Sears.

She was born at Linneus, Mo., March 25, 1890. She was the daughter of John and Sarah Hannon Reed. She was united in marriage to John William Klever of Pilot Township February 21, 1909 at Linneus, Mo.

To this union eight children were born; three sons and five daughters. Mrs. Klever was preceded in death by her husband and one infant daughter and by her parents and one brother and a sister.

Her surviving daughters are: Edith Klever, Mrs. Mary McCammant, Mrs. Lucille McCammant of Williamsburg and Mrs. Frances Meyer of Victor. The three surviving sons are Virgil and Walter of South Amana and Louis of Williamsburg. She leaves two sisters. They are Mrs. Edith Cooper, a twin, of Chillicothe, Mo., and Mrs. Minnie McIntyre of the same city. Her surviving brother is William Reed who lives in Michigan. She had five grandchildren.

Her church membership was with the Pilot Grove Methodist Church. Interment was in Pilot Grove cemetery. Pallbearers were: Arthur Mumm, Ivor Mumm, Will Dubishar, Floyd Klever, Carl Durr and Gerald Hradek.
