Adelaide A. "Anna" Bohstedt, 88 yrs

Memorial services for Adelaide A. Bohstedt, 88, Winter Garden, Fla., formerly of Victor, were held at Calvary Baptist Church, Florida, May 20, and graveside services were held at the Victor Cemetery May 28. She went to be with the Lord May 16, 2010.

Adelaide A. Bohstedt was born July 23, 1921, in Victor, the daughter of Bernard and Anna Bohstedt. She was a member of the Victor Baptist Church and graduated from Victor High School.

She earned her bachelor of science degree from Bob Jones College and her master of science degree from Drake University. After teaching in South Carolina for 15 years, she moved to Cedar Rapids and taught at Grant Wood Elementary from 1962 to 1971.

During her teaching career, she taught at Bob Jones University and Pillsbury Baptist College. She was an educator and teaching consultant working with children, teenagers and adults in several states. She retired to Florida.
Bohstedt is survived by one niece, Kathy Bohstedt, Marengo, and one sister-in-law, Margaret Bohstedt, Williamsburg.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Ted, and one nephew, Richard.
