James R. Cooney, 78, Imperial Beach, Calif., died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2010, at Lemon Grove Rehab and Nursing Home, Lemon Grove, Calif.
He was cremated and his ashes will be scattered at sea. There were no services.
Cooney is survived by his children; one brother and his wife, Joe and Lois Cooney, Grinell; one sister, Mary Goode, Arizona, and his ex-wife, Iris Cooney, Marengo.
