Debra J. Green, age 53, of Higginsville, MO, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010, at her home. She was born July 10, 1956 in Marshalltown, IA, the daughter of James Fanning, Jr. and Norma Fanning

Debra lived most of her life in Iowa, moving to Higginsville in 1999. She worked as a recess supervisor for Grandview Elementary School in Higginsville. She married Chris Wayne Green July 8, 1983. She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Williamsburg, IA. She was also a board member of the Higginsville Country Club and a Preschool Sunday School Teacher at Williamsburg, IA.

Preceded in death is a brother, Dennis Fanning and a granddaughter, Reagan Hackler.

She is survived by her husband: Chris Green of the home; her parents Jr. & Norma Fanning of Kellogg, IA; one Daughter:
Jessica Hackler and Husband Devin of Tomah, WI; three Sons: Christopher Farver, of Newton, IA; Dustin Green, and Mitchell Green of the home; one Sister: Denise Scheff and Husband Ken of Newton, IA; one Brother: Darrel Fanning and Wife Laurie of Kellogg, IA; and four Grandchildren: Jordyn Farver, Camden Farver, McKenna Hackler and Riley Hackler.

Arrangements are being handled by Hoefer Funeral Home, where the Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Saturday, January 23, 2010.A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, January 24, 2010, Dr. Greg Fine officiating, and Dennis Million, Music Director.
