OBITUARY.

DIED: August 12th 1885, Sadie E. Jones, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.J. Jones, aged about 10 months, after an illness of a few hours.

Sadie was a beautiful sweet child, the darling of the household, and the center around which clustered such bright hopes for the future.

Coronation day on the records of heaven came two months sooner than her first birthday on the records of earth. Thus another, of the precious little ones, has been removed from a world in which there is danger, sickness and sorrow, to one of elysian summer, where partings are unknown.

The scene presented the usual dual picture of the death of a child - having its earthly and heavenly side - an earthly home over which hangs the cloud of sorrow, grief stricken parents and friends, falling tears broken heartstrings; the heavenly portals open, the welcoming of angels, the newly arrived child from earth is clasped in the arms of Jesus, the crown of eternal life is placed upon its immortal brow. We extend to the family in this there most trying bereavement our deepest sympathy, recommending them to the Divine Master, who wept at the grave of Lazarus as the only source of consolation in this the darkest hour of all sorrowing hours.
