FATHER OF LOCAL LADIES BURIED AT WAVERLY, IA.
Henry Koehn Dies After Long Illness; Had Lived In Lincoln Township

Funeral services for Henry Koehn, who formerly lived in Lincoln township, were held at 1:15 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 25, at St. Paul's Lutheran church at Waverly, Iowa. Rev. Otto Fangmeyer officiated. The soloist was Ehm Osterbur and Dr. Robert Hieber was the organist. Mrs. Arthur Mahnke was in charge of the flowers. Interment was in the Harlington cemetery at Waverly. The pallbearers were six grandsons, Marvin Dhondt of Parnell, Donald Koehn of Cedar Rapids, Harold and Ronald Koehn of Millersburg, Robert Minnaert of Waverlo and Otis Schultz of Williamsburg.

Mr. Koehn was born May 20, 1865, in Germany. He came to this country at the age of 16 years and settled in Lincoln township. He farmed there until moving to Waverly 26 years ago.

He was married to Elizabeth Roesch who passed away in 1904. He later married Lizzie Querl who survives him.

Other survivors include two sons, J.W. Koehn of Cedar Rapids, and Ed Koehn of Marengo; three daughters, Mrs. Carl sChultz and Mrs. C.C, Dhondt of Williamsburg and Mrs. Ed Minnaert of Waverly; two brothers, Fred of Guthrie, Okla., and Joe of Victor; 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren

Among those from this locatity attending the services were Mr. and Mrs. Dhondt, and Otis Schultz and Carl Schultz of Williamsburg and Marvin Dhondt of Parnell.
