MRS. JAMES OLIVER.
Mrs. James Oliver died at her home west of town on Wednesday, December 22, 1920, after an illness which extended over many weeks. Her death was hourly expected and so it was not a surprise. She was in the hospital in Iowa City until a short time before her death and while there, she was thought to be improving but as soon as she was moved o her home, her condition became steadily worse.

Mrs. Ida E. Oliver, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Romber, was born at Stanton Nebraska, October 28, 1874. When still at an early age, she moved to Iowa County where she spent the remaining part of her life. On January 27th, 1897, she was united in marriage to Mr. James Oliver. To this union there was born four children: Arnold, now residing at Milwaukee, Wis., Iva, Wanda, Leslie, at home. Her age at the time of her death was 46 years, 1 month, and 24 days.

Mrs. Oliver was a member of the Presbyterian church and at all times lived up to her religious duties. She was an industrious woman, a good mother and a good wife.

She leaves to mourn; her husband, four children, three sisters, Mrs. W.T. Morgan, of Olwein, Mrs. Andrew Foss and Mrs. August Guenther, both of North English, two brothers, Charley and Henry of Williamsburg and her father, Mr. G. Romber.

The funeral services will be held at the Presbyterian church tomorrow at 1:30 p.m. Interment at Oak Hill cemetery.
