Service for Former Holbrooker Friday

HOLBROOK- Funeral services were held on Friday morning in St. Peters church in Cosgrove for Mrs. James Kinney, aged 71 years, who died on Tuesday in the Mercy hospital following a long illness. Rev. George Snell, pastor of St. St. Peters church, officiated at the Requiem high mass and present also was Rev. Raymond Vogel of Holbrook.

Mrs. Kinney, the former Margaret Donohoe of Holbrook, lived near Cosgrove during her married life. She is survived by her husband, and one son, Jay Kinney of Cosgrove; one sister, Mrs. Joe Gaffey sr. of Holbrook, and by 11 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One daughter, Mrs. Daniel Griffin, preceded her in death.

Pallbearers were Don Donohoe, Larry Kinney, Merve Donohoe, Bob Gaffey, Larry Jennings and John Gaffey. Burial was in St. Peters cemetery.
