After a long and serious illness of about nine weeks, Miss Maggie, a fifteen year old daughter of W.L. Edmiston died at the home of her father, west of town, last Saturday morning.
Miss Edmiston suffered greatly for a long period, from a wound received from a fall. The intense suffering was ceased only by the Angel of death, which came to her relief last Saturday morning. The funeral was conducted by Rev. Chew, of Williamsburg from the family residence. Services were held at the residence and also at Yankee Point Church. The remains were laid to rest in the Yankee Point Cemetery.
