Funeral services and a celebration of her life were held for Bonnie L. Jensen, 72, Marengo, Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2007 at Pursel-Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, Marshalltown. She died Friday, Feb.2, 2007, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law Steve and Dr. Joan Harding, Marengo.

Burial was in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens Marshalltown. A memorial fund has been established.

Bonnie Lou Jensen was born Sept. 17, 1934, in Union, the daughter of William Andrew and Dottie Irene Holladay Matney. She was raised and educated in the Union and Liscomb areas and attended Union schools. She was a homemaker and spent her time raising her family.

Jensen is survived by her children and their spouses, Diana and Michael Gardner, Morristown, Minn; Barbara and Kermit Davidson, Thayer; Steve and Dr. Joan Harding, Marengo and Chris and Staci Jensen, Faibault, Minn; one sister and her husband, Zelda and William Lewis, Glenwood, Mo; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother William Matney.
