Samuel Thomas Belland, 76, of Crystal River, Fla., died Friday, Jan. 12, 2007, in Spring Hill, Fla. Born Dec. 4, 1930, to Robert and Vera Belland, in Grinnell, Iowa, he graduated in 1948 from Brooklyn High School, Brooklyn, Iowa. He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean Conflict from 1949-1952. He was united
in marriage to Grace Irene von Aswege of Victor, Iowa on April 15, 1955. The couple moved to Williamsburg, Iowa and had three children. He was in the construction business for 30 years. They wintered in the Crystal River, Fla., area since 1981. He was a charter member of Faith Lutheran Church, Lecanto, Fla.
Among other things, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, fishing, boating, and watching the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Survivors include his wife, Grace, of 51+ years; three children, Tamara Belland of Lynnwood, Wash., Tom Belland of Williamsburg and Cindy Anderson (Jim) of Eden Prairie, Minn.; and five grandchildren, Kelsey Belland, Blair Belland,
Kiley Belland, Lexi Belland and Quinn Anderson.

He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Services: today at Faith Lutheran Church, 935 S. Crystal Glen Dr., Lecanto, Fla., with viewing at 10 a.m. and service at 11 a.m. The Rev. Schielke will officiate.
