Elizabeth Maxine Giblin,85 died in Palm Harbor, FL. on Saturday, July 14, 2007 after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Williamsburg, Iowa in 1921. She graduated as a Registered Nurse from Mercy Hospital in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and then retired after 25 years of service at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, IN. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Indianapolis and a member of St. Ignatius of Antioch Catholic Church in Tarpon Springs, FL. Maxine was a member of the Guardian Angel Guild, as well as an avid supporter of St. Vincent de Paul, the American Heart Association, the Little Sisters of the Poor and the American Cancer Society. Maxine is preceded in death by her parents, John and Elizabeth (Richards) Walker; her brother, Bright Livesay; and her husband, James Leo Giblin. She is survived by her son, Craig (Alison) Giblin; her daughter, Carol (Gary) (Giblin) Robling; her granddaughters, Catherine (Joshua Neal) Giblin, Elizabeth Giblin and Kelly Robling; and by her great grandson, Adam Giblin. Visitation will be held from 4 to 7:30 pm, Friday, July 20, 2007 at Stevens Mortuary, 5520 W 10th St, Indianapolis, with a Rosary beginning at 7:30 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Saturday, July 21, 2007 at 1:00 pm at St. Michael Catholic Church, located on W 30th Street in Indianapolis. The graveside service is immediately following the mass at Our Lady of Peace Cemetery in Indianapolis. Donations may be made in Elizabeth's name to The Hospice of the Florida Suncoast, 5771 Roosevelt Blvd, Clearwater, FL 33760.
