Mr. and Mrs. Jno. M. Flanagan of Lohrville were called to mourn the loss of their 16 months old son, John, who died at the home of his parents, on Wednesday afternoon. He had been sick for several weeks, and every thing was done that science and medical skill could suggest to stay the hand of death. The remains were brought to Marengo Friday morning, and the funeral occured at 11 a. m. of the same day. Burial was in Calvary cemetery. The father and mother and three of the children were here to attend the last sad offices for the beloved dead. The folks formerly resided in Marengo and many warm and cordial manifestations of sympathy are expressed by old friends. The DEMOCRAT tenders, in this hour of bereavement, its sincere sympathy.
