Lillian Anna Wiebold, age 86, died Wednesday, March 28, 2007 at Rosehaven Nursing Home in Marengo following an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown with Rev. David Rempfer officiating. Interment will be held at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Blairstown. Visitation will also be held at the church from 4 to 7 PM on Friday. A Memorial Fund has been established. Lillian was born September 2, 1920 at South Amana to Martin "Mike" and Evelyn (Sandersfeld) Heitshusen. On August 16, 1942 she married Gordon Wiebold at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Williamsburg. Lillian was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Blairstown where she enjoyed membership in the Ladies Aide and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. She was also a member of the Blairstown American Legion Auxiliary. For over twenty years she was employed at the Ox Yoke Inn in Amana making delicious pies for the restaurant. Always a willing worker, in her leisure she enjoyed reading. She is survived by her husband, Gordon of Blairstown; her son Garth Wiebold of Blairstown and her sister, Genevieve Schumacher of Newhall. Lillian was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Robert Heitshusen; and her sister, Laura Tschopp.
