Howard Eugene Beyer, 93, formerly of the Belle Plaine and Koszta areas died Thursday, September 21, 2006 at Colonial Manor in Amana following a long illness. Services will be 10:30 AM Saturday at the Christ United Methodist Church in Belle Plaine by Rev. David Crow. Burial will be in the Koszta Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Friday at the Hrabak Funeral Home in Belle Plaine and after 9:30 AM Saturday at the church.

He is survived by: his wife, Mildred of Williamsburg; daughter, Gwenda (James) Timm of Victor; sons, Larry (Nancy) of Marengo, and Lynn (Susan) of Jewell; brother, Dale (Marion) of Belle Plaine; brothers-in-law, Richard (Millie) Schild of Belle Plaine and Don (Jean) Schild of Santa Rosa, CA; also by five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and a grandson.

Memorials may be given to the donor’s choice.
