Olive “Ollie” Schueler, 100, of the Lutheran Home, Vinton, died there Sunday, August 27, 2006, after a long illness. Services: Private. Burial: Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery.
Turner West Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Olive is survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Olive was preceded in death by her parents, husband, 3 brothers and 3 sisters.

Olive was born on October 22, 1905 in Iowa County to Frederick and Marie Roggentien Schultz. She received her education in Millersburg School. After graduation she moved to Cedar Rapids and obtained employment at Quaker Oats Company. She remained there until her retirement over 35 years later.

Olive married William Schueler on July 27, 1935 in Missouri. They made their home in Cedar Rapids until 1974 when they moved to Atkins. She was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church at the time of her death.
