Waverly--Henry J. Koehn, 82, Sunday at his home; services Wednesday, 1 p. m. Kaiser's funeral home and at 1:15 in St. Paul's Lutheran church; Rev. Otto Fangmeyer will officiate; burial in Harlington cemetery; born May 20, 1865 at Macklenburg, Germany; came to Iowa county when 16; married Elizabeth Rouch; following her death, married Louise Querl in 1905; farmed in Iowa county until coming to Waverly 26 years ago; survived by wife, two sons, Ed, Marengo, and Julius, Cedar Rapids; three daughters, Mrs. Carl Schultz, Mrs. Jim Dhondt, Williamsburg, Ia., and Mrs. Ed Minnaert, Waverly; eight grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and two brothers, Fred, in Oklahoma, and Joe of Victor, Ia.; four sisters preceded him in death.
