Former Iowan Dead.

Chicago, Feb. 6.--S. A. Anderson, a prominent stockman and politician in Iowa for a number of years is dead at his home In this city, the result of injuries received in Fredricktown. O.,
January 24, when he fell on a sidewalk. Mr. Anderson was well known throughout the central and western part of the country. He formerly lived at Williamsburg, Iowa, where he was known as the "lieutenant" of Capt. J. N. W. Rumple of Marengo, Iowa, now congressman from that district. He has held several political offices in the state and removed to Chicago a short time ago. He was about 52 years of age and was married.
