Edward A. Blinkinsop, 90, died Thursday evening, April 6, 2006, in Rose Haven Nursing Home, Marengo, following an extended illness. Memorial services: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Kloster Funeral Home, Marengo, by the Rev. Morris Hurd. Inurnment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Belle Plaine. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be contributed to HACAP or Amenity Hospice.
Survivors include two sons, George and wife Kathy Turner of Osprey, Fla., and Gary and wife Paula of Davenport; three grandchildren, Stephen and Matt Blinkinsop of Marengo and Eric and wife Lindsay of St. Louis; and a great-grandchild, Zoe Blinkinsop of Formsby, England.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Gayle; a sister, Vesta Bebb; a brother, Orlyn; and a grandson, Lyle Edward.
