Helen J. Woods, 69, died Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, in University Hospitals, Iowa City, after a sudden illness. A memorial visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at the Millersburg United Methodist Church. Memorial services: 10 a.m. Tuesday, Millersburg United Methodist Church, by the Rev. Ben Wilson. Inurnment: Zion Cemetery, north of Millersburg. Following the inurnment service, lunch will be held at the Millersburg United Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband, Marvin; a son, Mark (Gayle) Woods of South Amana; a daughter, Mari Woods of Millersburg; and five grandchildren.

Helen Joyce Septer was born Sept. 25, 1936, to Harold and Iva (Wiedemier) Septer, in Millersburg. She married Marvin Woods on July 2, 1960, in Millersburg.

Helen was a licensed practical nurse for the Marengo Hospital.

Memorials may be directed to Millersburg United Methodist Church in Helen's name.
