Verneita Lucille Rehor, 88, was born May 1, 1924, in Ida Grove, Iowa, the daughter of Carl and Hildred (Sacquety) Eng. She passed away peacefully Monday, March 4, 2013, at Polk City Nursing and Rehabilitation.

Verneita is survived by her son, Craig (Ronda) Rehor; daughter, Deb (Ron) Brown; twin sister, Vernette Waugh; sister, Margene O’Leary; brother-in-law, Rolland (Helen) Rehor; sister-in-law, Phyllis Murphy; grandchildren, Angella (Juan) Ramirez, Amy (Shawn) Walther, Jonna (Jeremy) Hayes, Nichole (Jason) Lozano, and Cody (Angela) Rehor; six great-grandchildren, Roberto, Austin, Jordan, Kaeden, Elizabeth, and Connor; five step-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; other loving relatives; and many special friends.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Albert Rehor, and her parents.

The family will greet friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013, at Hamilton’s Altoona Funeral Home, 105 4th Street SW. Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, March 8, 2013, at Altoona Christian Church, 2890 1st Avenue S, with burial to follow at Altoona Cemetery.
