Dora Fae Schwenk

Young Mother's Death Angel's Victim

In the prime of life, with everything to live for, youth, home, children and a loving husband, death's angel claimed Mrs. Dora Fae Schwenk, whose untimely death occurred Wednesday forenoon at 11:30 o'clock. She was taken sick on February 3 and taken to the Ida Grove hospital where her condition seemed to improve and was taken to the home of her parents to recuperate. Last Friday her condition became alarmingly serious, peritonitis having set in and her young life passed to eternal sleep (Feb. 8, 1934).

Dora Fae Richardson, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Claude Richardson was born in Ida Grove, November 16, 1912 and at the time of her death was twenty-one years of age. She was united in marriage with Walter Schwenk, August 18, 1929 and they continued to make their home in this city. Three children were born to this union, Gloria Fae, Bonnie and Lauren Gale.

Mrs. Schwenk received her education in the Ida Grove schools having finished her sophomore year in high school. She was admired by her many friends for her kind and cheerful disposition and will be sadly missed by all, especially by the three little children who are bereft of a mother's love. She formerly attended the Church of God but after her marriage united with the Lutheran church.

Besides her husband and three children she is survived by her parents and five brothers, Eugene with the CCC at Winterset, Marvin, Virgil, Dohren and Claude at home.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 o'clock at the home and at 1:30 at the Lutheran church with Rev. E. C. Zschoche in charge.
