Services Tuesday For Elmer Lage

Funeral services were held at the Barker funeral home at Holstein on Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. for Elmer Lage, a 56-year-old lifelong resident of the Holstein community, who passed away Saturday night at a Cherokee hospital following a short illness. Rev. Ray Thompson of the Evangelical United Brethren church of Correctionville was the officiating minister. Burial was in the Holstein Cemetery.

He was born on March 2, 1906, near Holstein.

He is survived by one brother Albert Lage.
