Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon for Gary Nowland Noll, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Noll. The services were held at Friedens Evangelical and Reformed Church in Schleswig. Betty Lou Bielenberg sand, “God Will Take Care of You” and “Prayer.” She was accompanied on the organ by Mrs. J. M. Hurd. Rev. A. F. Rinne read the following obituary:
Gary Nowland Noll, son of Charles Noll and Marcella nee Bielenberg, was born February 2, 1950, at the Ida Grove hospital; and was taken from our midst April 26. He had reached the tender age of 1 year, 2 months, and 24 days. His sudden death came as a shock to the bereaved parents. He had been in excellent health, only showing signs of a slight cold when he was put to bed. Upon arising in the morning they found that his tender spirit had been called into the fold of the Good Shepherd. Gary was dedicated to God in holy baptism on April 23, 1950. He was an active child, and though his stay had been very brief, he brought much joy to his home and loved ones. His death is mourned by his parents, and his sister, Nancy Ellen; his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Noll of Ida Grove; Mr. and Mrs. Harry Bielenberg of Kiron, Iowa; two great grandmothers, Mrs. Ella Bielenberg of Schleswig and Mrs. Minnie Bossard of Ida Grove; and one aunt, Mrs. Ralph Miller of Holstein. Interment was made in the Morgan Cemetery. Pallbearers were: Emmett Hollander, Irwin Schultz, Virtus Hollander and Clarence Bielenberg.
