Services were Saturday for Agnes R. McKay, 89, of Ida Grove at Christensen Funeral Home in Ida Grove. The Rev. Jam es Riley officiated with burial in the Ida Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. McKay died Wednesday at Colonial Manor Nursing Home in Odebolt. Mrs. McKay, the former Agnes Rosenkjar Anders, was born May 23, 1898, in Denmark. She came to the United States in the early 1900s and was a telephone operator from 1918 until 1927 in Chicago, Los Angeles, and Ida Grove. She married Forest Lyle McKay on April 24, 1929, in Elk Point, S.D. He died April 14, 1968, in Ida Grove.

Survivors include two sons, Robert of Sioux City and Bruce of Ajo, Ariz.; three daughters, Mrs. Howard (Betty) Mentzer of Early, Ms. Beverly Dwyer of San Diego, Calif, and Mrs. Jim (Donna) Hudgel of Boulder, Colo.; a brother, Einar Rosenkjar of Los Angeles, Calif.; 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
