Alice (Edmundson) Crosbie
(May 9, 1869 - May 7, 1969)

Ida Grove – Mrs. Gavin Crosbie, 99, a former resident of Ida Grove, died Wednesday in a Cherokee nursing home. The former Elizabeth Edmundson was born May 9, 1869, at West Branch, Ia., and was married to Gavin Crosbie on Sept. 8, 1893 at Ida Grove. He preceded her in death.

Surviving are two sons, Edward A. Crosbie of Primghar and Sydney of Story City, Ia.; two daughters, Mrs. Florence Tjossem and Mrs. Jessie Tjossem, both of Gaza; 11 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were at 1:30 Saturday at Paullina. Friends Monthly Meeting edifice at Mapleside, rural Paullina. Graveside services were at 3 p.m. in Ida Grove Cemetery under direction of Sutherland Baumgarten Funeral Service.
