MOVILLE, Iowa -- Louis G. Metz, 84, of Moville died Sunday in a Sioux City hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Moville. Monsignor W. B. Bauer will officiate. Burial will be in the Arlington Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. in McCulloch-Wavrin Funeral Home in Moville.

Mr. Metz was born Dec. 23, 1901, at Akron. He farmed in the Holstein area and moved to Moville after his retirement in 1955.

Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Conway of Thurston, Nev., and two brothers, Clarence R. of Russell and Clifford F. of Russell and Clifford F. of Yuba City, Calif.
