Edna Josephine Christensen, 86, Spencer, died Saturdaym May 10, 1997, at St. Luke Lutheran Home in Spencer.

Funeral services will be today at 1 p.m. at First English Lutheran Church, Spencer, with the Rev. Walter Quandt officiating.

Casket bears will be: James Mohn, Harley, Mohr, Maynard Mohn, Darrold Mohr, Carroll Pingel and Brian Mohn.

Burial will be at Galva Township West Cemetery, Galva, with Warner Funeral Home of Spencer in charge of arrangements.

Edna Josephine Christensen, the daughter of Claus and Margarethe Hohnkamp Mohn, was born July 13, 1910, in Schaller. Her childhood years were spent in the Galva area where she received her education in country school near Galva and Aurelia.

She worked a number of places in Spencer and the Iowa Great Lakes region as a waitress. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Spencer.

Mrs. Christensen was preced in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother.

She is survived by one sister, Erma Huffman of Seymour, Ind.; and three brothers: William Mohn and his wife, Sadie, of Alta; Eitel Mohn and his wife, Frieda, and Arnold Mohn and his wife, Lamerne, all of Aurelia.
