Final Rites For
C. E. Lowder, Long
Time Printer

Funeral services were held Sunday, at Ida Grove for C. E. "Harry" Lowder. 58, printer, who died at Cherokee, Thursday. He was employed in the Cherokee Times office the past year.

Lowder was born at Auburn. He was foreman of the Ida Grove Pioneer-Record composing department for many years. He was employed in the Sentinel office here for some time, more than twenty years ago. At one time he owned the Ida Grove opera house and during his youth was a vaudeville performer with a traveling show.

Prominent in northwest low. Masonic circles, Lowder had held office in all the branches of the Masonic lodge at Ida Grove.

He leaves a wife, five daughters, and two sons.
