Fred B. Rehse

Fredrich Bernhard Rehse, residing near Grant township Lutheran church, died at his home Wednesday, April 2 at 3 a.m. from dropsy. He had been a sufferer for many years from asthma.
Mr. Rehse was a pioneer settler of that region, having come to Ida county in 1877. He was born Sept. 11, 1864 and was in his 60th year. He is survived by his wife, three sons and one daughter; Ervin and Richard at home, Paul of Battle Creek, Mrs. John Joers of Schleswig.
The funeral was held Saturday at the home, conducted by Rev. Schwenk. Burial took place at Grant township cemetery.
