Oscar Olson, 82, retired farmer and resident of the Bode-Humboldt community for more than 62 years, died at his home here Saturday morning following a lingering heart ailment.

Funeral arrangements, in charge of the Bogaard Funeral Home in Humboldt, are incomplete and will be announced later.

Mr. Olson is survived by his wife; three sons, John T. and Carl E. of Livermore and Arthur H. Olson of Middleton, Wis.; three daughters, Mrs. Guy Raney of Livermore, Mrs. Gene Sweeney of Britt and Mrs. Wayne Graves of San Francisco, Cal.; three sisters, 23 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sons and two daughters.
