Services for Guy E. Raney, 67, will be Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Presbyterian Church with burial in Union Cemetery. The Lindhart Funeral Home of Humboldt is in charge. Masonic services will be held Thursday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Raney died Wednesday morning enroute to a Fort Dodge hospital in an ambulance, following an apparent stroke. He had been in failing health for several years.

Surviving are his widow, Mildred; a son, Floyd, Livermore; three daughters, Mrs. Max Grover, Rowley; Miss Shirley Raney, Cedar Rapids; Mrs. Clarence Meyer, Logansport, Ind.; six grandchildren; three brothers, Ernest, Livermore; Herbert, Bode, and Hugh, Fort Dodge, three sisters, Mrs. Virgil Barrett, Lakota; Mrs. Faith Ross, Pomona, Calif., and Mrs. Beth Olson, Badger.

Mr. Raney was born at Algona and was reared and educated at Algona and Livermore.. In 1925 he married Mildred Olson at Livermore and the couple farmed in the area. Later Mr. Raney did carpenter work.

Mr. Raney was a member of the Livermore Masonic Lodge and was a Masonic district lecturer.
