Mr. Delmar Kinseth died suddenly Sunday evening, March 4 (1972), as he and his wife were leaving the John Loman home. He was the victim of a heart attack.

Mr. Kinseth was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Sever Kinseth, born at Ottosen Nov. 2, 1910, and received his education there. He was married in 1933 to Thora Lomen. He was fireman of the section crew of the Rock Island Railroad and had been employed by the railroad for 30 years.

The Kinseths had three children: Janice, Mrs. Carl Ludwig of Titonka; Robert of Grinnell, and Rachael, Mrs. Wayne Senne of Des Moines. There are six grandchidren and one great grandchild.

Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, March 8, in St. Olaf Lutheran Church at Bode. Pastor Gerhardt Gosnell of Ottosen officiated. Soloist was Conrad Rossing, accompanied by Mrs. David Engel at the organ. Casket bearers were Burton Rood, Seval Holden, Royal Hansen, Keith Rolland, Leon Gangestad and Larry Monson. Schellhammer Funeral Home of West Bend had charge of the service.

He is survived by the widow, Thora, three children, six grandchildren and one great grandchild; a brother, Russell, in Alabama; and two sisters: Veva, Mrs. Oliver Holden of Humbold, and Velma of Humboldt.

Relatives attending funeral services were his sisters, Mr. and Mrs. Roger Holden of Des Moines, Mrs. Gary Hankins of Des Moines, Mrs. Kris Kjar of Estherville, Mrs. Gerald Railey of San Rafael, Calif., K. Railey of San Rafael, Calif., K.J. Lomen of Brea, Calif., Mr. and Mrs. Paul Neusome of Algona, Sam Kinseth and Roy Kinseth and Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Kinseth of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Melvina Bergum of Humbold, Mr. and Mrs. James Barber of West Bend, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Kinseth, Mr. and Mrs. Olvin Haug of Ottosen. Also attending were the following Highway Patrol members: J.R. Graham, William James, Judd Kaleler, Ralph E. Klein, Tom Law, Paul Malden, Dave Tjepker and Harold H. Norris. The Kinseths have resided in Ottosen, West Bend, Titonka and Bode while serving the railroad.
