Guy Lansing, 78, died Friday afternoon of an apparent heart attack in his home at Bode. Services were held Monday in St. Olaf Lutheran Church at Bode. Burial was in the church cemetery. Schellhammer Funeral Home, West Bend, was in charge of arrangements.

Among survivors is the widow, Hilda; daughters, Mrs. Arnold Ketelsen, West Bend; Mrs. Betty Meyers, Oklahoma; son, Paul Lansing, Des Moines; step-daughters, Mrs. Jerry Blair, Humboldt; Mrs. Beverly Thompson, Forest City and several grandchildren.

Rev. Palmer Loken officiated at final rites. Special music was provided by Mrs. Grace Aure and Mrs. David Engel was organist. Casket bearers were Marcus Rolland, Vernon Faltinson, Larry Monson, Kent Haynes, Gilbert Nelson and Emil Welter.

Funeral services for Guy Lansing were held Monday, May 6 (1974) in St. Olaf Lutheran Church, Bode, with Pastor Palmer Loken officiating. Schellhammer Funeral Home, West Bend, was in charge of arrangements with burial in the church cemetery.

Guy Paul Lansing, son of Gus and Randina Lansing, was born July 7, 1895, at Bode, where he grew up and was educated. January 11, 1915, he was united in marriage with Anna Schultz. She died in 1957 and September 17, 1965, he was united in marriage to Hilda Harris of Bode.

Mr. Lansing lived all his life at Bode working as mantenance man for the Iowa Highway Commission.

Mr. Lansing died last Friday afternoon in his home at Bode, reaching the age of 78 years.

Surviving are his wife, Hilda; children, Mrs. Arnold Ketelsen, West Bend; Mrs. Wilbur Meyer, Cushing, Okla.; and Paul Lansing, Des Moines; six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; step-daughters: Mrs. Donald Blair, Humboldt, and Mrs. Richard Thompson, Forest City, and many other relatives and friends.

Mr. Lansing was a member of St. Olaf Lutheran Church and a member of Senior Citizens. During the service Mrs. Grace Aure sang. accompanied by Mrs. David Engel. Casket bearers were Marcus Rolland, Vernon Faltinson, Larry Monson, Kent Haynes, Gilbert Nelson and Emil Welter.
