Funeral services for Henry Clarence Olson, 80, formerly of Bradgate, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Trinity Lutheran Church in Rutland, with burial in Union Cemetery in Humboldt. Mr. Olson died Saturday at the Humboldt Care Center South.

Surviving are his wife, Harriet, also at Humboldt Care Center South; sons, Marvyn Olson, Oklahoma City, Okla.; Duane Olson, Cedar Rapids; daughter Mrs. James (Dorothy) Wilken, Columbus, Ohio; seven grandchildren; sisters, Mrs. Mable Veldhouse, Corwith; Mrs. Myrtle Hanselman, Livermore; Mrs. Edna Hanselman and Mrs. Aleda Hanselman, LuVerne; Mrs. Rhoda Brockman, Echo, Minn.; Mrs. Lila Nelson, Austin, Minn.; and Mrs. Agnes Soli, Mankato, Minn.

Mr. Olson was born at Duncombe, Jan. 28 1902, to Lewis and Amelia Nelsen Olson, and moved with his parents as a boy to a farm near Livermore. He attended the rural schools near Bode. He married Harriet Skow in 1923 and they moved to Bradgate in 1936, where Mr. Olson operated an oil truck and also drove the school bus for 28 years.

He was a charter member of the Lutheran Church at Livermore.
