Humboldt-Glen Brodale, 89, of Humboldt, died Tuesday (28 November 1989) morning at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital, Humboldt.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Humboldt, with the Rev. Paul Otto and the Rev. Robert Molldrem officiating. Burial will be in the Corinth Cemetery near Humboldt. Visitation is after 2 p.m. today at the Mason-Lindhart Funeral Home, Humboldt.
Survivors include his wife, Mary; daughter Janet McAlister, Bayard; sons, Roger, Fort Worth, Texas, Gilbert, Phoenix, Ariz., and Franklin, Cherokee; 10 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Glen Brodale was born and educated at Bode. In 1925 he married Mary Madsen at Rutland. They lived all of their married life in the Humboldt area, where he farmed and was employed in road construction. He worked for many years as a mechanic on heavy equipment and machinery. After his retirement, they continued living in Humboldt.
He was a member of the Humboldt Senior Citizens.
