Mrs. Anna Lansing, 85, died late Sunday afternoon, March 7 at the Humboldt Care Center where she had been a patient since 1967.

Services were held Wednesday in St. Olaf Lutheran Church at Bode with burial in the church cemetery.

Anna Swenson was born in Ottawa, IL. In 1903 she married Ambrose Lansing at Bode and they farmed in the Bode area. Mr. Lansing preceded her in death and Mrs. Lansing later moved to Humboldt.

Surviving are her six daughters: Mrs. Herman Daarud, Foreston, MN; Mrs. Vern Ryg and Mrs. Jack Paulson, both of Fort Dodge; Mrs. Myrtle DeSmidt and Mrs. Keith Haynes, both of Humboldt; Mrs. Don Rhodes, Des Moines; four sons: Archie of Fort Dodge; Robert of Lansing, KS; Lew, Bricelyn, MN and Everett of Leavenworth, KS; 39 grand children; 71 great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Esther Granseth of Des Moines.
