Ruth Ann Dickerson, 81, passed away February 15, 2012 at Careage in Fort Dodge, Iowa. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 20 at the Bruce-Graham Funeral Home in Fort Dodge.

Ruth Ann was born April 8, 1930 in Barnum, the daughter of Millard and Anna Monson, full-blooded Norwegians as Ruth was very proud to tell everyone. She grew up with her brothers Russell, Grant, Millard Jr., and Larry and sister Penny. As a teenager, Ruth moved to California and Texas before returning to Iowa. Ruth worked in a dentist's office and Hogan's Sporting Goods then married Robert Dickerson in 1953. Ruth had five children: Debbie Dolder, Jane McLaughlin, Joyce Bickford, Bob Dickerson and Tom Dickerson.
