B. Lucille Younkin, 82, died June 1 at Hays Medical Center, St. Anthony Campus in Hays. She was born August 23, 1918 at Bode, Iowa, the daughter of J.P. and Tia Kinseth Jensen. She married Chester Younkin August 28, 1942 at Wichita. He died May 14, 1991. A resident of Hays for 30 years, coming from Great Bend, she was a bank teller. Mrs. Younkin was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Hays.

Survivors include two nieces, Marian Tocko of Strum, WI and Kathy Frondell of Phoenix, AZ. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Maurice Hauge and Woodrow Jensen and one sister, Nioma Smith. Memorial service will be at the church Wednesday. Inurnment will be at Great Bend Cemetery. Bryant-Christian Funeral Home in Great Bend, KS in charge. 03 Jun 2001 Great Bend Tribune.
