Services for Mrs. Anna Monson, 76, will be 2 pm Saturday at St. Olaf's Lutheran Church, Bode with burial in the St. Olaf Cemetery east of Bode. Lindhart Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Monson died at her home Wednesday morning.

Among survivors are sons: Russell, Santa Monica, CA; Grant, Los Gatos, CA; Millard Jr, Cameron, MO; Lawrence, Bode; and daughter Mrs. Robert (Ruth Ann) Dickerson of Fort Dodge; 20 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and a brother Guy Lansing, Bode.

She was preceded in death by her husband and one daughter.

Anna Lansing was born at Bode, reared and educated there. She married Millard Monson and they operated a grocery store in Wesley and Barnum where he died in 1945. The past three years she had lived in Bode where she was a member of the Senior Citizen's Club. SOURCE: 28 Oct 1972 Humboldt Independent.
