Wells Clarence 71 died WEdnesday morning at Bethesda Genrral Hopital Ft Dodge Iowa following a long illness. Services will be at 2 pm Sat in the Lindhart Funeral Home Humboldt with burial in UNION CEM LIVERMORE IOWA,on Jan 31. Surviving are the widow a daughter Mrs Meritt Neal of Colorado Springs Colorad a grandson two sisters , Mrs Jennie Hatfield, Lineville and Mrs Blanche Moore, Cedar Rapids.
Mr Wells was born in Decatur Co near Lineville. In 1921 he married Laura Hauck in Humboldt and the couple farmed in Humboldt Co. He had been a resident of the community for 51 years. They retired from active farming in 1963 29 Jan 1970
