June Lea Glaser, 81, passed away Saturday, March 21, 2015, at Hospice Kavanagh House. A Mass of Christian Burial will be heal 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 26, at St. Augustin Catholic Church. Cremation will follow services and private inurnment will be in Fort Dodge at a later date.
June was born October 30,1933 in Rutland, Iowa, daughter of Archie and Myrtle Cook. She was raised in Fort Dodge and attended Corpus Christi Catholic School where she met her husband, James Glaser and graduated in 1951. June attended Clarke College before she and James were married in 1954. They lived in several towns throughout the Midwest before moving to Urbandale in 1967, where they raised their family. June was an investment advisor at First Mid America, later worked as the office manager for Glaser Lawn Care and operations manager for Glaser Mortgage Corporation. She was an avid reader and active member at St. Augustin Catholic Church. Family was the focus of June's life.

June is survied by her husband of 60 years, James Glaser, her children, James W.(Jeanne) Glaser of Des Moines, Martha (Chris) Adams of Franklin, TN, Mark Glaser of West Des Moines, Jonathan (Cheryl) Glaser of West Des Moines, Phillip (Katarina) Glaser of Des Moines, Paul Glaser of Urbandale; her siblings, Jane DeLahunt of Henderson, NV, Jerry (Earlene) Cook of Carmel, IN, Joan (Maris) Doster, Jon (Helen) Cook and Judith (David) O'Leary all of Fort Dodge and Jackson (Mary) Cook of Stratford: 12 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
June was preceded in deathy by parents, her grandson, James Christoper Adams, her brother, James Cook and her sister, Jean Marie Beer.
The family will receive friends from 5 - 7 p.m. Wedenesday at Lles-Dunn's Chapel where a vigil service and rosary will be held at 7 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Augustin's School Foundatin or Dowling Catholic High School Foundation.
