A. G. Cook, 61, 537 11th Ave. S.W. did suddenly Sunday afternoon at the home of Glenn Tubbs near Rutland, He suffered an apparent heart attack and died shortly afterwards. He was visiting friends in the area.

Funeral services will be at the Laufersweiler Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Wednesday and 11:30 at Corpus Christi Church with the Rev. Robert Daugherty of Coon Rapids officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery.

Mr. Cook was born near Rutlnd and attended the rural school of that community. Later he attended high school at the Humboldt,College at Humboldt. He married Miss Mrytle B. Mecham in Rochester, Minn, in 1926. They etablished their home on a farm near Rutland. The family came to Fort Dodge in 1939. He was employed for a number of yers at Gus Glaser Meats and Fort Dodge Packing Company.

At the time of his death was distributions manager of commodities for the Webster County Welfare Department.

He was a member of Corpus Christi Parish. Besides his wife he is survived by 4 sons and 5 daughters, James L., Newark, CA., Jerry J., Indianpolis, Ind, Jon L. Ashton, IA., Jackson W., Fort Dodge, Mrs Winford Beer, Fort Dodge, Mrs. Maris Doster, Barnum, Mrs. James Glaser, Wilbur, Nebr., Mrs. Ronnie Kischer of Lahabra, Calif., Mrs. David O'Leary, Fort Dodge, IA., 25 grandchildren, two sisters and a brother. Mrs. Hattie Chapman, Rolfe, Mrs. Edna Grimm, Gilmore City,
