J. M. Strom, Former Resident, Died in Fort Dodge April 8

J. M. (Mel) Strom, 62, a former resident of Humboldt, and a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Peter Strom, passed away at the Lutheran hospital in Fort Dodge Friday, April 8, after a short illness.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, April 11, at the First Presbyterian Church in Fort Dodge with Dr. A. Howard Lundquist officiating. Burial was in North Lawn cemetery in Fort Dodge.

Mr. Strom was a salesman for the Fort Dodge Paper company and had been a resident of Fort Dodge for 25 years. He married Ruby Sawyer, daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Sawyer of Dakota City, Oct. 15, 1915. He is survived by his wife, Ruby, and a son, Donald E. Strom, of Fort Dodge.
