July 2, 1920 - Humboldt Republican - Jessy T. Wiuff, the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. James J. Wiuff, was born Dec. 27, 1896. While he was yet young he was converted, and soon after in July 1912, he joined the Danish Baptist church by Baptism. Of this church he was a member until his death.

March 20, 1919 he was married to Miss Susie Knutson, who now survives him. For several months brother Wiuff fought with heroic courage and self denial, the dreaded disease, diabetes. But while the disease apparently was kept at bay, he was suddenly taken sick with pneumonia, and he died June 24, 1920, a few hours after the sickness was discovered. As soon as it transpired that Mr Wiuff was taken ill, his parents, sisters and brothers, beside other relatives, hurried to his bed side. But he was going. No tender love could hold back when death said "come".

He leaves behind to mourn his departure his wife, Mrs. Jessy T. Wiuff, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. James J. Wiuff three sisters and two brothers, besides many relatives and friends. The funeral took place June the 26 from the Danish Baptist church where B.H. Wilder officiated as undertaker and Jacob Anderson as speaker.
