LIVERMORE

Charlie B. Tillson died at his home last week, Dec. 17, 1924 of pneumonia. He had only been sick about a week. The deceased was born in Gilbertsville, N.Y. in 1840. He was married to Miss Allie Starr in 1871 and they settled on a farm north of Livermore now owned by Chris Gales. He lived there until a few years ago when he sold the place and moved to Livermore. There was born to Mr. and Mrs. Tillson 2 sons and three daughters all living., George in Montana, Dort Clark of Yambill, Oregon, Gertrude Forbs of Bozeman. Mont., Eve Mayberry of West Bend, and Henry of Livermore. The deceased was a veteran of the Civil War [Co. E, 2nd NY Heavy Artillery]. He was a well known old gentleman, having a kind word or a good advice for all and will be greatly missed by his neighbors, His funeral was held in the Presbyterian church and he was laid to rest in the Union Cemetery [Livermore].
