RITES FOR MRS. SORENSEN HELD AT 1:30 MONDAY

Funeral services for Mrs. Caroline Sorensen, 84, were held at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Humboldt on April 26, 1965, at 1:30 p.m. Rev. L.C. Jensen officiated.

Mrs. John C. Beem was soloist and was accompanied by Mrs. Don Hamilton on the organ. Floral arrangements were in charge of Mrs. Wayne Johnson, Mrs. Clara Lander and Miss Clara Fallesen. Casket bearers were Harry Simonsen, Theodore Simonsen, Sam Smith, Harold Larsen, Earl Schenck and Royal Sorensen. Usher was Walter Pedersen.

Mrs. Sorensen was born June 12, 1880 in Pjasted County, Denmark, and died Thursday at the Houston Nursing Home following a long illness. Her husband, Jens Sorensen, a Humboldt tailor, died in 1952*. The couple had one son who is also deceased.

She is survived by two grandchildren, one brother, Knut Olson of Webster, North Dakota, and two sisters in Denmark.

Burial in Union Cemetery with Lindhart Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
