FRANCIS (BUSS) BUSCHER

HUMBOLDT-Francis (Buss) Buscher, 70, died Saturday morning at Humboldt County Memorial Hopsital, where he had been a patient for one day. Services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday in St. Mary's Catholic Church with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery. Lindhart Funeral Home was in charge.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Clifford (Judy) Thompson, Atlantic; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren; brothers, Joe Buscher, Algona; Tony Buscher, Humboldt; Leo Buscher, Downing, Ore.; sisters, Mrs. Marie Gilbert, San Diego, Calif.; Mrs. Irene Petrie, Waterloo; Mrs. Helen Fitzgerald and Mrs. Margaret Passow, both of Clare.

Mr. Buscher was born at Duncombe and came to Humboldt with his parents. He was educated in the Humboldt schools and later employed in the shipyards in California during World War II. He returned to Humboldt and was emplyed by Silbaugh Manaufacturing Company as a welder. He was later in partnership in a welding shop and then was employed by the U.S. Gypsum Company in Fort Dodge.

FRANCIS (BUSS) BUSCHER FUNERAL SERVICES HELD

Funeral services were held Monday morning, June 4 at 9:30 a.m. for Francis (Buss) Buscher, 70, of Humboldt. He died Saturday morning, June 2 at the Humboldt County Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient for one day.
Father Richard Macke was the celebrant for the funeral mass held in St. Mary's Catholic Church. Interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Lindhart Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. Casketbearers were Joe Buscher, Dale Passow, Dick Buscher, Harold Passow, Kenneth De Groote and Leo Fitzgerald.
Mr. Buscher was born at Duncombe March 18, 1909 and came to Humboldt with parents. He was educated in the Humboldt schools and later employed in the shipyards in California during World War II. He retuned to Humboldt and was employed by Silbaugh Manufacturing Company as a welder. He was later in Partnership in a welding shop and then was employed by the U.S. Gypsum Company in Fort Dodge.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Cifford (Judy) Thompanson, Atlantic; five grandchildren; two great granchildren; brothers, Joe Buscher, Algona; Tony Buscher, Humboldt; Leo Buscher, Downing, OR; sisters Mrs. Marie Gilbert, San Diego, CA; Irene Petrie, Waterloo; Mrs. Helen Fitzgerald, and Mrs. Margaret Passow, both of Clare.
