OBITUARY

BARNES.
Allison Eugene Barnes was born at Big Springs, Fillmore county, Minn., April 9, 1860, and died at his home in Kendallville, Ia., June 24, 1918.
He was united in marriage to Phoebe A. Rolfe, Nov. 11, 1885.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Mrs. Phoebe A., two children, Clyde A., and Luella G., three children having died in infancy; one sister, Mrs. Calista Davidson of Campbell, Minn., eight brothers—Amandus C. of Wapato, Wn.; Herbert W. of Preston, Minn., Austin M. of Sunnyvale, Cal., Lester A. of Rochester, Minn.; Henry E. of Kendallville; Louis E of Arlington, Iowa; Rupert R. of Harmony, Besides these he leaves many relatizes{sic}, and a host of friends.
The sister, Mrs. Davison, and three brothers, Austin, Alonzo and Amandus, were unable to be present.
The funeral was held Thursday afternoon, June 27, in the M. E. Church at Harmony, Rev. J. C. Williamson preaching the sermon. The service was largely attended by old friends and neighbors here, among whom Mr. Barnes had lived for nearly a score of years, universally esteemed. Burial was made in the Big Spring cemetery.
